A bit about my 14 years of industry experience…
My career started in magazine publishing as a fitness and fashion editor at Fitness magazine with Meredith Publishing. I scoured the market for products, experiences, and trends to share with our 1.5 million readers nationwide. I like to think it’s where I learned how to write short, concise, witty one-liners. Little did I know it was practice for my future in social media!
I made the jump from publishing to an in-house content team at a sports media start-up. Starting out as a copywriter, then transitioning through the ranks up to Head of Social Media and content at Tough Mudder, we did BIG things. From managing many social media channels to inking a deal with Facebook Watch, Snapchat, and CBS Sports to share our events! Cut to a stint in the tech world with HTC Vive, followed by a time with Bodybuilding.com as the Head of Community, I have always loved working with teams trying to achieve rapid growth.
With the start of MFM, I now have experience across many industries from tech to baby essentials. The common thread between every client is … passion. I work with passionate teams who believe wholeheartedly in their product. My specialty is in brand visioning, voice development, copywriting, and social media, but love ideating and leveraging community feedback to inform product development and overall marketing strategy.
I have an entrepreneurial mindset and love getting in the weeds on customer insights, connecting dots across channels, and developing content that encourages growth and engagement.
